SHOP Talk – Mental Health Promotion
SHOP Talk is the newest peer education program out of the Student Health Outreach & Promotion office. Our peer educators are funded through Equity in Mental Health Funding. We want students at UCSC to have an equitable opportunity to thrive and be well on and off campus.
SHOP Talk peer educators are trained to promote mental health resources and share skills that will help students succeed. Topics include: loneliness, imposter syndrome, sleep hygiene, communication, school/life balance, and more. Visit our SHOP Talk Toolkit, full of worksheets and resources!
Check out the SHOP calendar of events! Are you hosting a well-being event? Request our peer educators at your event via our Google Form.
